Titans, Releases and much More !

Hey Everyone, So another week down and onto more fun stuff in the land of 30k. For those that haven’t been looking at the Forgeworld site, two major things have dropped that will get anyone's heart going. Wrath of Mars So Forgeworld has released an amazing draw for any warhammer 40k player and that is a chance to win a reaver titan. Wish everyone luck with this! Solar Auxilia Ogryn Charonite Squad The Solar Auxilia also got some love this week with the ability to pre-order the Ogryn Charonite Squad. To give their army some extra punch in close combat, these monsters from are some very high damage output units, and also give the army a bit of an extra charm for this human force. Can’t wait to see people posting up some battle reports using this cause personally I want to see how these hold up against Legion Troops. Army Progress Luna Wolves Got a major thing checked off this week with getting a heap of armour done for the army. With 4 Rhinos and two whirlwinds my army can now run a full mechanized list and also get some supporting artillery fire. This is going to go great with the amount of Infantry and the tanks already in the army not only for game play but also for fluff as I imagine the 16th legion to be very mobile. Can’t wait to get this all out on the field ! This was not the only good news in regards to the project and I lucked out on some purchases. I was able to acquire two contemptors, a squad of Tartaros Terminators, and a storm eagle. Now that right there is giving my army a major boost in the terms of great crusade era equipment as well as some stuff I’ve been dying to try. So once this stuff comes in am going to make sure this stuff gets quickly done so we can get some more battles in and work towards that campaign me and a mate are planning on running. Imperial Fists In some good news for local gaming for me. A friend of mine has recently started up in 30k with a Imperial Fist force. He has a really interesting idea for an elite castellan force of mostly Veteran Tactical Squads and a large force of Terminators. In order to back this up he is looking to buy the Aquila Defense point for some truly ungodly firepower. This is his first stage idea and really fits in with Imperial Fist lore. Upcoming So with the news of last week behind us want to share what’s coming up on the blog this week. First up as always forge world news or heresy stuff will be posted up as soon as I can. There is a lot of stuff running through the rumour mill and with the weekender showing off a lot of stuff I'm sure more pre-orders will be posted in the upcoming weeks. Second will be the blogs first battle reports that I hope will be regular here. Over the weekend me and a mate played two games pitting my Luna wolves against his Imperial fists. These where very bloody games though I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures for the second game but will be posting the first up soon. This is going to be very fun for me and hopefully for the readers of the site as we start to see some Great Crusade and other 30k match ups and get it to what I hope to be a very fun portion of the site!
